Big B’s Latest Obsession

Guess what the Big B’s latest obsession is? Playing online games. He says this is something he loves and enjoys doing with his grand children and is busy learning new tricks and games with his competitors being a bunch of kids who love to play with their Boothnath. ‘I’m glad I got to play with kids and am looking forward to play with them. But off late it’s the Big B’s turn to turn his wrath on Union Health Minister A. Ramadoss who recently commented about film actors being shown consuming liquor on the screen. After Sharmila Tagore, is was the Big B’s suggestion that the minister should back his bark by law to banish drinking scenes from films, whose portrayal of the drunk is part of the industry legend.

Though not aggressive sounding, Bach Chan’s blog fully brings out his resentment at the health minister trying to foist a to-do code on the country. ‘First smoking and then drinking’ he took a dig at the generous funds the government gets from the powerful liquor lobby. The sarcasm gets fully evident when the ‘angry young man’ of yore says politicians are also engaged in acting to get votes to enter the Parliament. He adds ‘we fake it on the screen, diluted tea, honeyed water, aerated drink, soda water, to match the color of champagne. I applaud your concern and your choice of your example in dear friend and colleague Rajnikanth, but Honored Sir, could we perhaps dare to inquire whether you have considered first to ban this dreaded habit from all government servants’ Bachchan signs off.
